Keeping Up with Katerpillar - February 9, 2009

February
9, 2008....

.. ..

Fans, friends, record execs and media flocked to downtown
L.A. Saturday night to check out and cheer Katerpillar on at International
Promotions’ Pass The Mic showcase. Pass The Mic features
up-and-coming comedians, actors, solo vocalists, models and bands that earn
their places onstage through a rigorous and competitive audition process. Katerpillar battled bands across every genre
and continent to earn their place not only as featured band, but also as house band,
providing the music bed for the modeling portion of the showcase.

Katerpillar opened the show and grabbed the crowd from the
first electric chord. As a band, the
guys lived up to their self-proclaimed title of “The New Sound of Groove Rock”;
every head in the place was bobbing, and the cheers after their second track,
“Afterglow,” were practically deafening.
